ArcGIS Survey Analyst is an ArcGIS extension that enables users to manage survey data in a geodatabase and display survey measurements and observations on a map. ArcGIS Survey Analyst bridges the gap between mapping databases and modern surveying systems by enabling surveyors and GIS technicians to work together in an integrated system.
Surveyors can use ArcGIS Survey Analyst to store and manage their survey measurements (represented as survey project folders) in an ArcGIS geodatabase. GIS technicians can use the survey measurements stored with ArcGIS Survey Analyst to improve their GIS data and evaluate the accuracy of GIS features.
With ArcGIS Survey Analyst, surveyors and GIS technicians can
• Integrate survey measurements into a geodatabase.
• Improve the accuracy of mapped features.
• Map new features based on surveyed points.
• Organize survey data in projects.
• Maintain data about, and report on, the spatial accuracy of surveyed points.
